Adhesives For Membrane Pressing
Membrane Pressing is the process by which a 3D Laminate is bonded to a composite wood substrate using adhesives during a heated thermoforming process. The process enables components to be made with contoured surface profiles and seamless edges, eliminating the need for edge banding and special edge treatments.
Manufacturers and fabricators can saw, rout or otherwise machine virtually any shape into wood-core components, including compound curves, detailed edge profiles and deep recesses, as well as squared corners and flat expanses.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
PVAc Water Based Adhesives is a kind of water-soluble adhesive, which is prepared by polymerization of vinyl acetate monomer under the action of initiator. Commonly known as white latex or PVAC emulsion for short, the chemical name of polyvinyl acetate adhesive.
It is safe, non-toxic, non-combustible, easy to clean, curing at room temperature, good adhesion to wood, paper and fabric, high adhesive strength, colorless and transparent after curing, good toughness, no pollution of the adhesive
